     Perception of Organ Donation  
   
   

Dr. ChanvitTharatep, Deputy Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Public Health, launchedthe “Perception of Organ Donation” Campaign which hosted by Ministry of Public Health in collaboration with the Organ Donation Center under the Thai Red Cross Society (“ODC”), Thai Transplantation Society, National Health Security Office, The Kidney Foundation of Thailand, and The Medical Council of Thailand.  The campaign is aimed to encourage the right perception of the organ donation.  In this exhibition, the round relief semi-permanent sculpture in shapes of kidney and heart was shown.  It was made from the beeswax and would gradually be melting in order to warn public that do not let your organs being useless. Apart from the aforementioned arts, the display giving knowledge about the organ donation was also provided.  The audients could also state their intention to donate their bodies to the ODC in this exhibition.  Many actors/actresses, namely Pancake - KhemanitJamikorn and Tle – ThanapholNimthaisook, would join the program.  The exhibition would be held until 11 October 2013 at the outdoor ground floor of MBK (beside the Phathumwan Princess Hotel) and the Victory Point at Victory Monument.
